About CL Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Chennai:
On 1st December 1979, Tamil Nadu Chemists and Druggists Association with the Educational Trust decided to open a pharmacy college. As a result of this, the college was inaugurated by Dr. H.V. Hande, the then Minister of Health Government of Tamil Nadu on 13th July 1980.The univesity is self financed. The college is a 6 acre campus(has hostel and college on campus).
