Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology

is a private institute which is established in 2008. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technology University (VTU), Karnataka and is approved by AICTE and University Grants Commission. The aim of the institute is continuous development and research in the technical field and to impart quality technical education to the students.

The institute is spread over 10 acres of land with infrastructure like Lecture halls, Workshops and Basic Science labs, Leisure and Sporting Activities, Student Hostel, computer Labs and information centre.

There are five academic departments of the institute. The institute offers degree programmes, diploma programmes and postgraduate programmes through them. Admissions in these programmes are done through merit based on entrance tests.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The campus is huge and well structured with modern facilities. It has a Research and Development Centre, Gymnasium and Open Air Auditorium.

Gender based segregated on campus hostels are available for men and women with a capacity of 500 students. It has well furnished rooms, WiFi connection, 24/7 power and water supply, hot water availability and water purifiers.

The dining facilities are excellent with the provision nutritious and sumptuous food. Hygiene is maintained.

All round security and safety is provided to the students.

The hostels also have a Game room, TV room and a spacious playground.

Other facilities

Apart from the facilities available at the hostels, the college also has a Caféteria, a Library with more than 10000 books and a number of other resources, a Computer Lab, a Seminar Hall and a Placement Centre.

The college promises to train students with their special approach within which they provide full academic and professional guidance through conferences, lectures and workshops.

The college provides Scholarships and monetary support as well to deserving candidates.

Students are motivated to participate in the annual college fest called “Vishista Vijaya.” Several sports competitions and Yoga workshops are held throughout the year.
