Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute is a premier textile institute of north India. je.

The institute offers professional degrees in bachelors and masters of technology in various branches such as –

In order to select the students, an entrance examination i.e. (UPSEE) conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, every year. The institute is organised into four textile departments and offers various courses for the doctorate levels, graduate levels and the postgraduate levels for the aspirants.

Application and Admission Procedure

Admission Process

The institute offers B.tech, M.Tech and Ph.D courses. The admission for B.Tech is through the State Enterance Exam (UPSEE) conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).

Admission to M.Tech courses is by counselling conducted by UPTU, Lucknow.

For Ph.D, the candidates are supposed to go through a written exam and subsequent RDC conducted by UPTU.

The applications for UPSEE can be submitted online only. The candidates may fill the UPSEE application form at the official website and upload a scanned image of signature, one colour photograph and left thumb impression. Following this, the candidate is required to pay the application fee. They are strongly advised to take a print out of the ‘confirmation page’ with the application number printed on it for future records.

Hostel

There are 5 hostels in UPTTI, Greater Noida, 4 for boys and one for girls. The hostel seat capacity is 440 in total. Pillows and mattresses are provided.

Facilities

• Library: The library of UPTTI is expanding day by day and has an initial collection of 10379 books. E-journals, magazines and national journals are also a part of the library.
• Laboratory: All the departments of UPTTI have well-equipped laboratories and the students can perform their lab-activities easily and comfortably. Four computer labs are also there with a capacity of 32 PCs each.
• Seminar hall: There is seminar hall, having 125 seat capacity along with audio-visual facilities.
• Other facilities:

1. Indoor sports facility is readily available.
2. There is a shopping areafor the students and faculty.
3. Medical Facility- there are doctors present in the campus.
4. Transport service is also available with 4 buses working round the clock.
