The college Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women was Founded by Sri Boyapati Appa Rao Garu in 2008, with the objective of providing excellent learning facility for women to pursue education in engineering, VITW is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada , approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Certified by ISO 9001 : 2008. VITW is the only women's Engineering college in the heart of Vijayawada city, offering engineering under graduate courses in CSE,ECE, EEE and IT, Masters in Business Administration and Diploma Engineering courser in CSE,ECE and EEE. VITW is not just one more engineering college. It's a college with a difference. It has made its presence felt more with its academic discipline, results and the achievement of its students. Though started a few years back i.e. in 2008, Naturally, it is the best choice for many parents who want to keep their wards in the safest and best academic environment.
