Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering is located in the region Vile Parle in suburbs of Mumbai.It was established in the year 1994 as a private engineering college. The DJ Sanghvi institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It has a sprawling campus of 17,623 sq. meters with state of the art infrastructure.

The institute is one of the top achievers in Quality Engineering college with grade ‘A’ certification from the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The institute has been ranked in top 100 institutions imparting quality education by various authorities.

This institute offers 8 undergraduate (UG) courses, 3 postgraduate (PG) courses and 3 Doctoral (PhD) courses.

Hostel and Facilities

There is no hostel facility in the campus although there are some PG’s located near the college at affordable prices.

The campus of Dwarkadas J Sanhvi College of Engineering is located in the urban area of Mumbai and consists of a 6 floored building.

The classrooms are air conditioned. The first floor of the campus comprises of the Manubhai P. Knowledge Centre library.The library is Wi-Fi enabled along with the facility of reprography.

Around 17000 books, 70 printed journals and national and international magazines are provided by the college. There is also availability of 6 online databases namely IEE,EIEL,Online,ASME,ACM and Springer link.

A sports complex focuses on both indoor and outdoor games.Table tennis court and carom board are present within the complex.Well furnished laboratories of the chemistry, computer, electronics, mechanical and physics lab departments are available.

Apart from these other facilities such as gym,cafeteria,auditorium,conference room,computer centre,drawing hall and recreation rooms are also available.
