University of Hyderabad is a public research University established in 1974. It is one of the top notch teaching and research institutes in India. It offers doctorate courses in fields of Management, Science, Humanities, Fine Arts, Social Science and Communication.

The admission into the university is based on entrance exam of the university. Other than that, the universities also accepts other national-level entrance exams. Below is a list of few of them.

Application and Admission Procedure

HOW TO APPLY?

For admission students can apply in online mode only.

The application fee is 350/-INR for OC candidates, 250/-INR for OBC students and 150/-INR for SC/ST/PHC students. The fee can be paid through online mode only either

through credit card or debit card or internet banking.

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

The applicants who wish to submit online application visit the universityofficial website https://www.uohyd.ac.in/and fill in the application.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The documents that need to be furnished along with the application are:

1. Scanned photograph of 200 x 230 pixels (25kb)
2. Scanned signature of dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (10kb)
3. Passing certificate or Marksheets that shows that you have qualifying examinations.
4. Marksheet of the qualified entrance exam for the admission in the respective program.
5. Caste certificate (if applicant belongs to a minority community).
6. Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable).

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FORM

1. First visit the official website and fill in the mandatory details.
2. Upload the photograph and the signature along with the documents required.
3. Make the payment for application and submit the form.

Admit card for the entrance exam and then the list of the eligible candidates for admission, based upon the merit and fulfillment of the university of the entrance exam held will be put up on the official website.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1. First obtain the application form from either the official website and complete the details.
2. Upload scanned photograph and signature along with the supporting documents.
3. Then the candidates have to appear for the entrance exam and obtain the qualifying marks. The admit card will be available at the university website and the merit list will also be published on the website.

NOTE- National entrance exam like GATE for M. Tech, CAT for MBA scores, will also be accepted.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facility

The University of Hyderabad is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was founded in the year 1974 as an Indian Public Research University. This college has a state of the art campus in 2300 acres of land.

It has a unique look with thousands of species of flora and hundreds of species of Fauna which are well preserved and add to the scenic beauty of its campus. The college provides a well-stocked library named as Indira Gandhi Library and has an A to Z book bank along with Digital journals center.

It has well-equipped laboratories for various courses offered on campus. A student center in the college campus provides a stationery shop and other basic amenities stores, gymnasium hall and health center.

A computer center, sports arena, a campus guest house, BSNL office, Bank and SBI ATM are few other facilities available.

Hostel

There are separate hostels for girls and boys in the college premises. In total there are 10 hostels, of which 7 are for boys and 3 are for girls.

Hostels are well groomed and environment-friendly. Each hostel has its own mess and a hygienic food is available in varied cuisines. Various recreational activities like chess, TV room, sports area, and a reading room are available.

The students can apply for hostel rooms online and according to availability, the rooms will be allowed in accordance with CGPA of the student.
