Fee Structure Of NIFTEM, Sonepat-National Institute Of Food Technology Entrepreneurship And Management

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management was established by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India in Sonepat, Haryana. UGC has granted NIFTEM a deemed to be University status under “de-novo” category i.e Deemed to be Universities.

The institute offers the following courses:-

  • B. Tech. in Food Technology and Management
  • M. Tech. in Food Supply Chain Management, Food Safety and Quality Management, Food Process Engineering and Management, etc.
  • MBA

For B.Tech, candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50%, with Physics and Mathematics compulsory, and should have sat for JEE. For M.Tech, four year’s Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks is required. For admission to MBA, candidate must have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.

The institute provides facilities like cafeteria, auditorium, library, well- equipped classrooms, transportation, hostel, gym and laundry for hostel students, etc.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

As staying in the institute’s hostel is compulsory for all students so the college has 4 hostels. Out of the four, Brahmaputra and Sutlej are boy’s hostels and Kaveri and Ganga are girl’s hostels. Hostel’s rooms are well furnished and also provided with basic amenities.

Campus facility

Students are provided with facilities like digital class rooms, central library, transportation facilities, sports facilities include outdoor & indoor games like Table Tennis Volley Ball, , Badminton, Basket Ball, photocopy centre, stationery shop, general store, bank, saloon, guest house facility, laundry facility and medical facility.

The institute encourages students to take interest in activities that are organized in the campus regularly such ad Swach Bharat Abhiyan, street play, NIFTEM sports league, sports championship indoor sports tournament.

Traditional and patriotic festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Basant Panchmi, Diwali, Independence Day, Republic Day are celebrated in the institute. Besides this, the institute also organizes Agastya the food fest and Edesia the annual fest.
