Admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech programs are done on the basis of AP EAMCET qualifying marks.
The institute has a well-maintained library and auditorium. It also has hostels, dispensary, canteen, sports, gymnasium, and transport facilities. College campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi with a bandwidth of 110 mbps.
For academic session 2016-2017 over 49% of the students were placed from the campus.

Separate accommodations for both boys and girls are provided by the institute. A total of 300 boys and 300 girls can be accommodated. The rooms are on dual sharing basis, large and well furnished.
