The Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) was established on 7th August 1961 in Chandigarh to help the students to become a professional architect. To face the modern challengesof urbanisation in the field of architecture, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in architecture were introduced in many colleges in India. The admissions are purely based on the JEE Main score and the students who didn't qualify the exam are not eligible. Le Corbusierdeveloped Chandigarh's master plan in 1951 and got CCA established as a part of the Chandigarh Experiment.
