Having been established in the year 2014, Woxsen School of Business aims to provide high quality education to students by providing them with best of the facilities.
Founded by Mr. Veen Pula, Woxsen School of Business is headed by a healthy mix of faculty members that are from different walks of life. Harvard, IIM, etc are a few places from where lecturers come to join Woxsen.
A lush green, eco-friendly 200 acre campus is located in the proximity to the heritage city of Hyderabad.
It is situated in Sadashivpet, at a distance of around 60kms from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must possess a valid undergraduate degree in any discipline.
Also, students in their final years can also apply.
Eligibility for admission would be based on the test scores such as GMAT, GRE, CAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, MAT or ATMA

There are so specific cut-offs for admission, although, the applicants overall performance in the entrance, test, interview and past academic record would be judged appropriately.

How to apply

If eligible, there are three options that an applicant can avail at the time of applying to the institute:-

Making a payment of 1500 or 25$(for International Applicants) through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD/INTERNET BANKING and subsequently fill the form and submit it online.

The Woxsen School of Business conducts admissions twice a year, once in February and once in July.

Method of Selection

The candidates are shortlisted based on their Entrance Test scores and are called on for an interview henceforth. All the credentials of the students are thoroughly examined before the candidate secures an admission in the B-School.

Fee Structure

The total fee amounts to Rs.17,60,000 for the entire course that includes, admission fee, Tuition fee, boarding and lodging fees.
Student would have to pay 15% of Rs.1760000 as admission acceptance fee.
The remaining amount can be paid in two installments.
1. Rs.748000 on the day of Registration.
2. Remaining amount in the second installment.

Additionally, a refundable security deposit of Rs.15000 has to paid by the student.
The tuition fee is computed considering the student would opt for Single Occupancy rooms that mounts to Rs.180000.p.a food expenditure and Rs.75000.p.a accommodation fee.
On the other hand, students can also avail the Double Occupancy and opt for a reduced meal plan as follows, Rs.110000.p.a as the food expenditure and Rs.37500.p.a for the accommodation expenditure.

Also, an alumni membership amount of Rs.10000 has to be paid by all the students which is non-refundable for students who graduate from the program but would be refunded for those who fail to do so. You could also click on the link mentioned for more information:-

Placements

Woxsen School of Business has tie-ups with top B-Schools across the globe to facilitate the students with opportunities to enhance their academic prowess. Various recruiters come to Woxsen School of Business for the summer internships and final placement offers to be made, such as:-
Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Google, Lanco Infotech, Karvy Associates, Zomato, etc.

Month long internships are provided to the students after term 4.
The students have been offered with salary packages ranging for 11 lacs.p.a to 18 lacs.p.a.

Additionally, the students have also raised amounts of around Rs.1 crore from the Woxsen Fund to fund their respective start-ups. The Woxsen Fund has set aside an amount Rs.2 Crore to funds start ups and provide opportunities for students to implement their ideas.

Having been established in the year 2014, Woxsen School of Business is yet to be ranked.

Hostels Facilities

Accommodation is provided to all students around the campus with separate building for men and women. Additionally, the hostels also have gymnasiums, common rooms, automatic launderettes.
The rooms are fully air-conditioned, fully furnished with internet connectivity and maintenance services provided 24x7.
As mentioned previously, the hostel fee is Rs.75000/- per annum for single occupancy and Rs.37500/- per annum for double occupancy.
The mess charges are Rs.180000/- for the regular package and Rs. 110000/- for the reduced meal package.
The institute is entirely Residential.

Scholarships

Woxsen School of Business has allotted an amount of $300000 from its Scholarship Fund to provide for the deserving students.
Students are entitled to a full fee waiver too based on their previous track record that includes academic excellence, abilities, potential to succeed, etc.

Eligibility

To pursue MBA at WOXSEN students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.

The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.

Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.

Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.

Admission Procedure

Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.

The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:

  • Past academic performance
  • Quality & content of the answers in the application form
  • Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
  • Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
  • Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
  • Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)

A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.

A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
