The college is a renowned institution in the field of Engineering, Management and Polytechnic education. 4000 students are presently studying in the college. The college runs the courses like BE, MBA, MCA, M. Sc. (IT), BBA, BCA, Diploma and ITI.

Faculty members of this esteemed institution are providing consultancy services to business houses. For overall academic development of faculty members, college has conducted short term courses on bio fuel, communication skills, mechatronics, entrepreneurship etc. College has conducted 10 national seminars. Mechanical Engineering Dept. and Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood have conducted special courses for unemployed youth.
The college has planned to get itself accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE New Delhi. Engineering College Bikaner is going to start a new world class Petroleum Institute in 2009. After beginning this institution, Engineering College Bikaner will become a special institution to run 12 traits of engineering at one place.

The golden marubhumi of Bikaner is known for its love of soil and hard work. True to the image, this college aims to facilitate it with top-notch of technical education. We hope to take this institution at the acme of technical education especially considering the new campus building that will further enhance the facilities for students. The institute is setup to promote higher learning and research in the field of engineering. The academy’s objective is to setup a nucleus campus that should promote quality education in various disciplines of engineering to meet the ever-increasing demands of new millennium. Its major thrust is on achieving technical excellence through intensive classroom teaching; technical visits, expert lectures from eminent guest faculty, databases, elocutions, seminars, work shops, symposia, etc. Our aim is to provide platform for intensive research in pursuit of excellence. We also aim at multi-dimensional development of students to make them competent on the highest scale.
