Guru TeghBahadur Institute of Technology (

GTBIT) is a degree level engineering institute set up by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee in 1999. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. The sprawling campus is centrally located in Delhi.

Institute facilities

6 weeks in house training is given to the students after the 4^th semester and an 8 weeks summer training is provided after the 6^thsemester.

The Entrepreneurship development cell encourages the students to launch their own ventures at a low cost with the help of industry experts.

PLACEMENT

The placement cell of Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology is headed by a senior faculty member. The college organises industrial visits with an exposure to real-life work environment and cultures.

During their 3^rd and 4^th year of education, the students are assigned various industrial projects which are compulsory which in turn help to providea practical hands on experience as well as an active interaction with the corporate world.

There are two summer trainings which are carried out every year namely:

A 6 week in-house training is conducted after the completion of 4^th year. The training usually takes place during the month of June-July. Training provided after the 6^th semester gives an emphasis on the exposure in their respective fields through an interaction with the industry.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply?

The college offers various Undergraduate courses in engineering with specialization in computer science, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics and information technology offering either 120 or 60 seats per course with two separate (morning and evening) batches.

Mode of application-

Online method: The candidates can visit the college’s website for collection of the form and fill in relevant details and submit it at the college.

Offline method: The candidates can visit the college’s administration office for collection of the form and submit it after payment of relevant admission fees.

Admission Procedure

The admission in different courses of the college is done through the common entrance test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi. The college follows all the guidelines issued by GGSIPU regarding admission.
