Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, set up under the aegis of B. V. V. AIEMS is located in Bidadi Industrial Town, Ramanagaram, Near Toyota Kirloskar Motors Road, Bengaluru – 562109. The AICTE-approved MBA program, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)-Belgaum, envisions building leaders capable of sharing national and global responsibilities. The specializations offered by AIEMS include Marketing Management, Human Resources Management and Financial Management. The institute also offers 4-year engineering undergraduate courses and 3-year polytechnic diploma programs.

Admission Procedure

Candidates are selected via two methods, 50% of the total of 60 seats is offered through CET Karnataka Selection Process and the balance 50% is through Management Quota. The selection process is through PGCET, MAT and KMAT.

Eligibility Criteria and Cut-Off

Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any bachelor degree program. For candidates from the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes, the minimum aggregate score is 45%.

Campus Facilities

The AIEMS campus boasts of a well-stocked library with book and journals. The institute runs a fleet of buses which picks up and drops students from and to different areas of the city. The institute offers canteen facilities for its students serving delicious hot food from 7AM to 9PM at subsidized and affordable rates. A food court is also available in the campus to cater to needs of students from different parts of the country.

Hostel Facilities

Separate hostel blocks are available for boys and girls set amidst lush green surroundings within the campus. Every room offers a great view. The rooms are equipped with combined bed-study units including a study table, wardrobe, single bed and a book rack. Every unit has a separate lighting, electrical socket and Computer socket points. 24/7 security is also available for both the hostels. Scholarship

The eligibility to apply for free seats (available only under the Management Quota) is a minimum of 80% aggregate score in the bachelor’s degree course. Fee concessions (up to an extent of Rs.10, 000/-) are offered for students with 70% aggregate score in the bachelor’s degree course.

Placement

The Placement Cell arranges for summer and winter training programs, invites organizations from across different sectors for campus recruitment events and delivers training to meet industry requirements. Fee Structure

Fees for candidates from Karnataka is Rs.65, 000/- per annum and for non-Karnataka candidates it is Rs.75, 000/- per annum. The Hostel fee is Rs.50, 000 per annum and a one-time refundable caution deposit of Rs.5, 000/-. Transportation for students is offered at a maximum rate of Rs22, 000/- per annum. The actual cost is dependent on the route and distance travelled.
