Rajasthan Institute Of Engineering And Technology (RIET) Jaipur

The Rajasthan Institute of Engineering Technology (RIET) is a private institution established by the Chandrawati Education Society in 2000. It is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and is affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. It has been approved by the AICTE, the Ministry of HRD, and duly accredited by the NBA.

The college has 10 departments, and offers B. Tech programs at the undergraduate level, and M. Tech, MCA and MBA courses at the postgraduate level, as well as Ph.D programs.

The campus is spread across a large area and offers facilities such as complete Wi-Fi coverage, hostels for men and women, canteen and food stalls, well-equipped gym, state-of-the-art, well-stocked library, modern labs, and easy access to public transportation.

The admission into UG and PG programs is on the basis of merit marks scored in Class 12^th and the applicant’s Bachelor’s degree respectively. Admission into some programs is also based upon scoring in various entrance tests depending on the program applied for, such as REAP/RPET (UG), CMAT (MBA), GATE (M.Tech), RMCAAT (MCA), and RTU-DAT (Ph.D).

How to Apply

In order to apply for the Management course (MBA) offered by the institution, candidates mandatorily need to be graduates (in any discipline) from any recognised university. They have to possess a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (for general category); for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories, the minimum aggregate is 45%.

Admission Procedure

Post application, candidates will undergo further levels of filtration based on their scores in CAT, CMAT and MAT examinations. The ultimate short-listing will lead to the candidates’ selection or otherwise will depend on counselling.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus facilities:

The institute is spread over 2.3 acres that offers facilities like high speed Wi-Fi in the campus, air conditioned digital library and fully equipped labs. Cafeteria that provides quality food for both staff and students is available.

There is also a separate gym facility for both boys and girls and a sports court consisting of both indoor and outdoor games like table tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, hockey and tennis.

Hostel:

The institute provides hostel facility for both boys and girls with an accommodation of around 1100 students in total. The hostel is well equipped with Wi-Fi facility, water purifier and water coolers. All the rooms are air conditioned.

The students are provided with good and nutritious food. In addition to that, laundry facility, visiting room, furnished common rooms with TV are also provided.

Student life:

The institute has an auditorium where various events are organized. Extra-curricular activities like literary club, Sports club, Student activity centre and Cultural society that conducts debates and quizzes are encouraged for the overall development of the student.
