It was established in the year 1997 under the trust Sri Devi Karumariamman Educational Trust. In the year 1999, the trust established an engineering college named Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology, and then another college for the management studies in the year 2002 i.e. Arignar Anna Institute of Management Studies and Computer Application at Pennalur Village, SriperumbudurTaluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu.

The main motto of the institute is to serve the humanity with the services full of knowledge and to provide them with a better insight of information in order to empower them in the best possible ways. It is one of the leading institutes in the feids of management and engineering. The vision of the institute is to provide excellent education to the students with the help of management and research alogn with providing competent and ethical professional concern to the society.

Hostel and Facilities

Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology started its journey in the year 1999. this private technical college has been recognized by Anna University, Chennai.

This college situated in Arcot Road, Janaki Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Hostel

This College provides hostel provision for both boy’s students and girls’ students. There are 3 blocks. The boys’ hostel can accommodate 750 students whereas the girls’ hostel can have more than400 students.

In the girls’ hostel, there are a fully air-conditioned beauty parlour and a well-equipped gym. The hostel rooms are large and have all modern types of furniture like bed, study table and chair, almirah etc.

All the rooms have accessibility to all the basic amenities such as 24 hours water, electricity, internet etc..The hostels have mess along with dining hall. In the hostels, the healthcare service is also provided.

Campus Facilities

This technical college has some other facilities too. There is a well-stocked library, an auditorium, department-wise separate labs. Not only the hostels but the entire college campus also has internet accessibility.
