It is a private type of university which was established in the year 2003 by a well known philanthropist. It is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule University and has been formed in order to bring the round breaking ideas and to provide a vision and mission to the budding apsirants in this challenging industrial world. It has been approved and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education, Directorate of Technical Education and Govt. of Maharashtra.
It is located at Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjawadi, Pune, Maharashtra. It offers various graduate, post graduate and under graduate courses to the students in order to help them face the challenges in the industry which might help them in surpassing the competetion. There are various courses avaialble for the customers related to computer, information, technology, electronics and telecommunication.
The lush green campus of the institute has been formed keeping in mind all the basic necessities of the students. There are well furnished classrooms, sepereate blocks and departments for various sections, seminar halls, workshop halls, audotirium, sports club, extra curricular activities, hostels, cafeteria , mess and so on,
Hostel and Facilities
HOSTEL
Hostel facilities are provided by the Institute.
- Most of the rooms have balconies which provide a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
- Separate hostels for boys and girls- Nalanda and Mithila respectively are available.
- Housekeeping service is provided to the students.
- Medical facilities are available 24×7.
- Generator back up is available.
Also, the administration office is located just below the hostels.
CAMPUS FACILITIES
The campus is spread over an area of 10.22 acres. It provides recreational and sports facilities including Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, etc. It has a canteen with accommodation of 500 people. Some other facilities are-
- Medical facilities, Amiad water filtration plant and barrier free environment for physically handicapped students.
- Library- The library provides more than 9000 texts and reference books which include books, magazines, project reports, question papers and research journals. The digital library has 10 computers with 100 mbps campus Wi-Fi connection.
