Institute of Knowledge College of Engineering, established in 2010 is a premier college in Pune. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is accredited by AICTE and DTE, Mumbai.

The institute has a tie up with Volkswagen India to provide its students the Volkswagen Group Technical Apprenticeship Programme (VG- TAP). The programme takes place at the Industrial Training Centre in Pune. The opportunity is given to 20 candidates who are picked by the faculty. After completion of the programme few deserving candidates will be picked by Volkswagen to join the company.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply:

A minimum criterion to get admission into undergraduate and postgraduate courses of IOK College of Engineering is 50% marks in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

Admission to the college is based on the results of Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHTCET).

To register for the MHTCET, follow these steps:

1. Visit the MHTCET website and click on Apply Online.
2. Fill the application form and upload photograph & signature.
3. Pay the application fee online by Credit Card/Debit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, etc.
4. A confirmation of the payment for application will be displayed online. Candidates shall save the receipt for future references.

Admission Procedure:

Admission process is done through the counseling after taking in concern of the rank obtained by the candidate in the MHTCET. The institute fills vacant seats on the basis of the rank obtained in JEE-Mains.

After that candidate has to submit the following documents:

4. LC (leaving certificate)

6. Income Certificate less than 1 lakh (for Economically Backward Classes)
