To pursue Post- Graduate Diploma in Management at IMI students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The Program is targeted at individuals with high potential for success in their chosen career. Selection is therefore very rigorous and competitive. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any discipline under 10 + 2+ 3 system from a recognized University. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible, provided they complete all formalities of their examination before June 30, 2010 and furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2010.moreAdmission Procedure

Candidates are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by The Indian Institute of Management at different Centers all over the country. Group Discussion and personal interviews are integral components of the admissions process.more

Eligibility:
To pursue Ph. D. Programme at IMI students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
(a) An applicant possessing any one of the following qualifications shall be eligible to apply for admission to a Ph.D. programme.more
(i) A Master's degree in Management, Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, Humanities, Commerce, Medicine, Law, Education or Pharmacy from a recognized Indian University, or a degree approved by Association of Indian Universities, or any other equivalent qualification to the satisfaction of the Academic Council of the University, in the relevant field with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
(ii) Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or any other professional discipline, with either 75% or more marks in aggregate and a minimum of three years of relevant experience or 60% or more marks in aggregate and a minimum of fifteen years relevant experience in recognized Institute, University, Industry or Government Organization, may be considered eligible for admission, on the recommendation of School Research Committee (SRC) and approval by Board of Studies (BOS ) provided that such applicants may, in cases considered essential, be required to qualify in the courses specified by the SRC/BOS.
(iii) For applicants belonging to SC/ST category and/or physically handicapped applicants, a relaxation of 5% in marks shall be admissible under eligibility conditions prescribed under sub-clauses (a) (i), (ii).

Post-Graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (including M.A, M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MCA and M.Tech.) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. CA, ICWA or CS with at least 50% marks. Selection will be based on applicant�s profile and test scores in CAT/ GMAT/ GRE (general/advanced), UGC/CSIR/ICAR/JRF or GATE and personal interview.
The short listed candidates will be called for personal interview at IMI New Delhi or any other venue fixed by the Institute on dates to be mentioned in the call letter for interview.
