Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management and Technology (MBA Course) About the Institute

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management and Technology was founded in 1997 on the auspicious occasion of India’s Golden Jubilee year of her independence. The institute, under the Kurukshetra University and has been approved by the AICTE. It is one of the premier institutes that provide all the necessary management education that facilitates students into become global citizens who accomplish excellence in their respective fields.

How to apply

The basis of admission to the Maharaja Agrasen Insitute of Management and Technology is based on the rules set by the government of Haryana. Students need to apply to the college through MAT which is conducted by AIMA and the form can be filled up along with the MAT application through AIMA’s portal. No separate examination is taken for admission.

Admission Procedure

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their MAT score. The candidates who are shortlisted have to undergo the institute’s GDPI process for final selection. The speaking abilities and leadership skills of the candidates are measured by the institute throughout the process.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree course with at least 50% marks from any recognized institute are eligible to apply to the institute. Students who are in the final year of their graduation may also apply. Candidates who are in the SC/ST categories have a 5% relaxation in the graduation eligibility criteria.

Campus Facilities (i.e. Infrastructure)

The campus has high tech auditoriums and board rooms which facilitate learning. The campus is also one of the first to host a lecture theatre specifically for industry visits and seminars. The library is well stocked and all the current journals and e-learning resources related to the modern business and the corporate world.

Hostel

Hostel facilities are provided for all outstation students, Boys and girls are provided separate accommodation with complete security. Complete security is provided to all the students and all the basic amenities are available to the students whenever they require them.

Placements

Placements have been solid at the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management and Technology in the last few years with some of the top names in the country coming to recruit at the campus during the placement process. Some of the top recruiters include Reliance Fresh, Idea Telecom and HDFC Bank.

Ranking

The institute was ranked 50th according to the Bharath Lakshya B-School Survey of India. The Institute has been given an A grade by Business India, AIMA and Business School Survey in the recent years.

Scholarship

There are no scholarships available for the college. The fee of the institute is highly affordable and the institute has one of the lowest fee structures in the country making it highly feasible for students from weaker financial backgrounds to experience world class education.

The student life is very active with so much to do on campus. Every weekend activities are held to help students learn the importance of team building and leadership. Important Dates

Application forms are available through AIMA’s MAT portal and the form of the college can be filled along with the MAT application. The GDPI process is held sometime during the months of May and June across several cities in India. Classes begin by the month of July.

Fees

The fees at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management and Technology is very reasonable at Rs 82,000 for both years included which is payable yearly at the beginning of each term.
