Sinhgad College of Engineering came into existence in the year 1996. It has been recognized by the University of Pune and some other organizations such as NBC, AICTE etc. This private engineering college is run by Sinhgad Technical Education Society. The motto of this college is ‘’ Lead me from darkness to light". It is an "A" grade college by NAAC.

This technical educational institute is situated in Vadgaon, Pune and its campus is spread over across a huge area of 50 acres. The entire campus is WiFi enabled. It provides very good infrastructures such as hostel, air-conditioned library, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, open-air theatre, canteen etc. Besides that, there is a stationery shop, Net Café, and a bank within the campus.

This college offers bachelor and master degree programmes in various engineering and management studies such as BE in Computer Science, Chemical engineering, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, MBA, ME in Automotive engineering, Mechatronics engineering etc. Fees for BE programmes is (approx.) 4.09 lacs, ME programmes2.04 lacs(approx.) and MBA -3 lacs(approx.)

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

Singhad College of Engineering provides hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are total of 10 hostel buildings, 7 of which are for boys and rest 3 are for girls. The rooms are well furnished with basic facilities like bed, study table, cupboard, mattress, Fan and Tube light. Each room has an attached bathroom.

The hostel also has provision for hot water to bath. There is 24 hr running water and electricity as well. There is a telephone facility in each hostel.

The hostellers are provided with Wi-Fi facility. There is a common room in each hostel where students can watch TV and read magazines.

Each hostel has mess facility in it. The kitchen and dining hall are well maintained in order to maintain hygienic environment. A special diet plan is made in order to provide students with healthy and delicious food.

Facilities

There are indoor as well as outdoor stadiums in the college campus. There is availability of jogging tracks, football field, Hockey Ground, Basket Ball courts, Cricket ground, volleyball courts and skating court as well.

The college campus is also facilitated with Wi-Fi facility, Transport facility, parking facility for day scholars, well furnished class rooms and Laboratories, and an open auditorium.
