Approval

Indian Institute of Pharmaceutical Marketing has all of its courses verified and approved by the UGC, Distance Education Council and the AICTE. Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade (IICT) is a member of the FIEO (set up by the ministry of commerce, Govt. of India) and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution. Amity University also has all of its courses approved by the UGC and the DEC. On the other hand the other institutions offering distance courses including the renowned names such as Symbiosis and SMU offer certified courses.

Eligibility Criteria

Amity University only requires its students to only be a graduate from any recognized university, with a 10+2+3/4 education system although the college does generally not accept Diplomas. For admission eligibility at IICT the candidate must simply have a graduate degree or a diploma in engineering for their MBA Dual specialization course, while for other MBA course any valid Bachelor’s degree makes the candidate eligible for admission. Similarly at IIPM the college requires only a college graduation for eligibility of admission

Fee Structure

The fees at Indian Institute of Pharmaceutical Marketing (IIPM) can be paid as a lump sum of Rs45, 000 or through installments every semester of Rs11, 950. The fees at the college can be paid through Bank Draft, or through electronic fund transfer from any ICICI Bank branch. Similarly the fees at IICT can be paid through Demand draft or Electronic Fund transfer, and the students may pay a lump sum of Rs28, 000 or pay it in installments throughout the course. Fees at Amity University an be paid as a lump sum to avail 13% discount, or can be paid in installments. The fee usually includes Study Material fee, Assignments and Examination fee.

Specializations Offered

IICT offers a large variety of specialized MBA courses in its Distance mode including a MBA course with dual specialization, and an executive MBA. The institution offers course specializations in Finance Management, Foreign Trade, Marketing, Human Resource, Hospitality Management, Advertisement Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, etc. IIPM offers course specializations in Hospital Management, Healthcare Management, Hotel Management, Pharma. Management, Material Management, Rural Development, among others. The other institutions offer similar core specializations, which are always well received.

Admission Procedure

For admission at Amity University and the other institutions (such as SMU-DE, Symbiosis, NMIMS-Edukart.com) offering as study centers the students need to obtain the application form in person from the study center or obtain it from their website by remitting the required amount for it. The filled application form must be sent to the colleges along with the required documents, for approval. On confirmation, the students usually need to pay the first installment of the fees. Admissions at IICT and IIPM follow similar procedures wherein the student needs to obtain the application form from the college, and send the application with the required documents and the passport photos, before the due date to be considered for admission. All fees should be paid through bank draft in favor of the pertaining college.
