Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune is a premier Business School of the country established in 1978, that is well known for its academic excellence, and its valuable contributions to the industry. SIBM Pune currently offers a 2-year full time MBA, 2-Year Executive MBA program and a 1-Year PGDM course for working professionals, and Executive Postgraduate Diploma programs for corporates.

Course Structure

SIBM Pune offers a 24-month (2-year) Executive MBA course for working professionals with contact classes held only in the weekends. The course is delivered through traditional lectures and classroom work held in the weekends – Saturday and Sunday: 9 am to 5 pm.

The course is divided into 5 semesters and includes extensive course work such as:

• E – Learning Module

The course is immersive and intends to augment the skills of executive with business skills, organizational dynamics and leadership capabilities

How to Apply?

Candidates applying to the Executive MBA weekend course must apply online through the available website (portal), and fill in the details as instructed. The candidate must also pay the amount of the application of Rs.1000/-. For any additional weekend course, the applicant intends to enroll – he must pay Rs.500/- per course.

The application fee may be paid by Credit Card/Debit Card or NEFT/RTGS.

Admission Procedure

The admission into the course is entirely merit based, and the candidate will have to appear for a person interview held at SIBM, Pune, Lavale Campus.

The admission offer is finally made to the candidate and he is intimated via E-mail, and the website.

Eligibility Criteria

SIBM specifies minimal criteria that has to be satisfied to be considered for admission into the Weekend MBA course, and they are as given below:

• A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent grade in graduation exam
• For SC/ST the minimum requirement is 45% marks or equivalent grade in graduation
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as on 31^st May of the admission year
• Student who have done their graduation in distance mode are eligible provided their institute is AICTE/UGC recognized.

Fee Structure

The entire course fee for the SIBM executive MBA is Rs.6,70, 000/-.

The student must also pay a refundable security deposit of Rs.10, 000/- at the time of the admission. The fee may be paid in 4 equal installments of Rs.1,65,000 over 2 years.

The course fee includes fee for course material, examination fee, convocation, medical, library facilities, etc. However, the course fee does not include Backlog examination fee.
