Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) Bhubaneswar
The Xavier Institute Of Management is located in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneshwar. The institute has been established under the patronage of Society of Jesus. The institute comes under the government of Odisha and was established in the year 1987 to establish a pioneer institution in the field of education. The XIMB has been duly accredited by Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) and granted the South Asian Quality Assurance Systems (SAQS) accreditation. It has also been accredited by the prestigious NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and has applied for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation. The campus houses modern infrastructure and provides an atmosphere of research and development to all its students.
This institute also houses the centre Centre of Excellence in Fiscal Policy and Taxation (CEFT) a pilot project under the state government of Odisha. Varied courses offered in the institute include Undergraduate courses, Postgraduate courses and doctoral courses in the field of Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Mass Communication, Economics, Sustainable Development and computer science and engineering. It also provides post graduation in Urban Management and Governance and other programmes from foreign university according to the MOU signed by the varied universities with XIMB. The admission to various courses of this institute is done through the national level examination namely XAT, GMAT, X-GMT, NMAT and CAT.
Hostel and Facilities
XIMB provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. A/C as well as non- A/C rooms are available at different fee amounts. The hostel rooms are large, airy and well furnished. Both single seater and double seater rooms are available in the hostel.
Apart from all this, there are several other facilities provided.

Post-graduates in any discipline (or professional field) related to management with at least 55% marks (or working graduate engineers with at least 55% marks, having at least 2 years of work experience) are eligible to apply for the full-time FPM. In case the score is available on a letter-grade system, the Institute expects a minimum cumulative score of 4.80 on an 8-point scale (or 6.00 on a 10-point scale). The applicant must write any one of the following written tests: CAT, UGC NET, XAT, GATE*, or the XIMB Research Aptitude Test (XIMB-RAT).
