Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research came into existence way back in the year 1994, and has come a long way since its inception, with each year of fabulous growth and academic excellence.

DYPIMR was established by Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil, a well-known philanthropist, educationist and social reformer. Under the umbrella of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya Pratishthan Society, a chain of a large number of educational establishments are catering to every need of education from the primary level to the level of doctoral degree under various disciplines. Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management and Research - DYPIMR, at Pimpri, Pune - 411018 is located on the campus of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya Pratishthan Society. The Institute functions under the leadership of Dr. P. D. Patil as Chairman.

DYPIMR is located on the campus of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya Pratishthan Society, near old Mumbai-Pune highway, Pimpri, at a distance of 15km from Pune railway station and 20 KM from the airport.

MBA Admissions

• Candidate should be an Indian National, appeared and qualified MAH-MBA-CET (Common Entrance Test) for the year 2016.
• In case Candidate qualify CMAT, CAT(conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA in March 2016)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS) produce Score Card for the same
• Candidates who have not appeared for MAH-MBA-CET (Common Entrance Test) for the year 2016 can take admission at Institute level by enrolling in the examination conducted by Association Of Management Of MBA/MMS Institutes(AMMI) in the month of July-August 2016 tentatively
• For open Category - Candidate should pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree
• For reserve Category - Candidate should pass with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree

MCA Admissions

For First Year MCA Admissions

• Candidate should be an Indian National, appeared and qualified MAH-MCA-CET (Common Entrance Test) for the year 2016.
• For open Category - Candidate should pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree with maths or statistics at 10+2 level or higher level examination
• For reserve Category - Candidate should pass with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree with maths or statistics at 10+2 level or higher level examination
• The candidates who have passed BCA, BCS, Bachelor of Science (Computer/IT) are not required of studying maths at 10+2 level
• Candidates who have not appeared for MAH-MCA-CET (Common Entrance Test) for the year 2016 can take admission at Institute level by enrolling in the examination conducted by Management Association of MCA Institutes (MAMI) tentatively in the month of July-August 2016
