Geetanjali University (GU) Udaipur

Famous for its medical college, Geetanjali University is located at Udaipur India. It has a campus spread over 35 acres of land. It was established in 2011, the private university has a focus on using innovative teaching methodology. The university also focuses cultural activities and student support to ensure that students gets most out of the course.

The medical college also has an attached Tertiary care Multi Super Speciality Hospital. The university offers courses in Medical, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dental and Pharmacy. The admission to various courses is through NEET and RPMT (Rajasthan Pre-medical test). Close to 1800 students are studying at the university.

Students interested in pursuing Medical courses can apply online the official website of the University. They can also purchase the form in person from the admission office or the University campus.

The University has a set a minimum eligibility criteria of 50% marks to apply for all the courses, and for the undergraduate programs, students should have also studied relevant subjects in their 10+2.

The Admissions into Postgraduate programs is based on the marks scored in graduation.

Additionally, admissions for the MBBS and BDS programs require the aspirants to write an entrance examination and the Pre-PG entrance test for the postgraduate courses. Admission offer will be made based on the mark and rank obtained in the Entrance examination.

The Diploma courses select students as per the regulations of the Rajasthan Paramedical Council, Jaipur.

The university provides on – campus hostel facilities for males and females on sharing basis. The hostels have an efficient security systems, 24 hour electricity, and water supply and internet facilities.

Every room is equipped with cupboards, study table, lamps and comfortable beds. The students have access to STD and ISD services.

The university also provides a Hi-tech bus service to ensure that the travel of students from the campus to various field sites is comfortable and safe.

Other facilities

The university offers several outdoor sport facilities like cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis, and various indoor games like chess and table tennis to the students. Along with this, the campus has an auditorium, cafeteria, bank and medical centre for complete care of the students.

The facility of stationary, fax and photocopy are available to the students within the campus itself that allows easy submissions of assignments boosting ease in overall studies of the students.
