MATS University known as Mahaveer Academy of Technology and Science University is a private university situated in the district of Raipur, in the state of Chhattisgarh.

The university was founded in the year 2006, by the Chhattisgarh Private University Act, 1956.

It is affiliated by UGC (University Grants Commission), AICTE and AIU.

The university offers various Bachelors’ and Master’s degree programs in various disciplines. The admission to different courses in the university is based on marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 or Graduation depending upon the course.

The Bachelor’s degree consists of 3 years, and the Master’s degree consists of 2 years.

Application and Admission Procedure

The eligibility for admission in MATS is 50% in +2 or bachelor’s degree for UG and PG programs respectively. The application process is done online as follows.

How to apply:

Online Method: Candidates can fill application form at the official university website. This is done by first registering on the website and then filling in the online form. All necessary documents are to be uploaded.

There is an application fee of Rs. 500/- or Rs. 300/- depending on the choice of programme. The application fee has to be paid online via Net Banking and Credit / Debit Cards.

Admission Procedure:

The University accepts JEE Main and Chattisgarh Pre-engineering Test score cards for B.Tech. For admission in MBA candidates should attend any of the following; CAT, CMAT, MAT. Candidates are admitted after counselling process (GD and PI).

Hostel and Facilities

Mats University is established on 110 acres of land which hosts more than 150 events and activities happening throughout the year. The classrooms are ultramodern with smart learning tools, projectors and video conferencing facilities, along with a spacious auditorium which is air-conditioned and also houses audio-visual aids. The library is well resourced and efficiently digitized.

There are a plenty of advanced laboratories such as the Garment construction lab, Fashion art lab, the Design studio, Tissue culture lab, CAD/CAM lab, Genetics lab and many other infrastructure facilities for the students to learn, explore and innovate. Students can exhibit their innovative designs and creations in the Inside Story museum.

The sports infrastructure includes an air-conditioned gymnasium, indoor gaming facilities for table tennis, chess, and carom and a calm and spacious filed for yoga, taekwondo and judo classes.

The University has constructed homely and modern hostels for boys and girls separately. The facilities include 24X7 medical care, recreational room, safe drinking water and power backup.
