Sharda University Greater Noida

Sharda University is a private university located in Greater Noida. It was established in 2009. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university has total 13 schools that offer more than 180 programs in various streams like Engineering and Technology, Business Studies, Law, Dental Science, Education, Pharmacy, Medical Science, and Languages and culture among others.

The university has campuses in Agra and Mathura besides Greater Noida. The Greater Noida campus is spread over 63 acres. The university has actively collaborated with many foreign universities. It has tie-ups with 110 such institutes in China, US, Australia and UK.

The university has an AC hostel with a capacity to house 3200 students. University has total 21000 students and 1200 faculty members. Various programs offered by the university are recognized by MCI, DCI, BCI, and COA.

The university has won many awards like Best Business School in North by BBC Knowledge 2017, Best Innovative Engineering School in North by Innovative Education Awards 2017 and Best Private Global University of the year by National Education Excellence Award 2017.

The university conducts its own entrance test SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) for admission into engineering, Law and MBA courses.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply?

For getting admission to this university offered courses the candidate first needs to visit the official website of this university. Once on the official website, they need to go to the ‘apply’ segment and "Register” themselves.

Once the registration is completed, candidates need to fill the application form and upload the required documents such as recent photos, signature etc. By doing so a Unique ID will be generated which is very important for further communication.

Once the eligibility is confirmed by the institute, an offer letter will be issued to the candidate via email. Post this, the candidates need to pay the fee.

The fee can be paid through various modes such as bank transfer/cash/DD/ Online payment (Debit Card/Credit card)/cheque. If they opt for DD option for fee payment, they need to draw it in favour of "Sharda University". The receipt of their fee payment at the student log in the dashboard after 48 hours of successful fee payment.

If they choose online payment mode they need to submit the receipt of payment along with their system ID at the global@sharda.ac.in.

Admit Card:

The candidates need to download Hall Ticket/Admit Card from the official website.. After that, they need to take a print out of it and keep it for future reference.

Admission procedure:

The candidates need to appear in the university conducted entrance exam for getting admission into any courses offered by the university.

Hostel and Facilities

Sharda University

Sharda University gives accommodation to the students by submitting a form during the admission. It provides a well-furnished AC and non-AC rooms with single/double/triple occupancy room with a bed, table-chair, and cup-board and with an option to change the room during the mid-semester. Other facilities include indoor and outdoor sports complex, gymnasium, transport facilities, WI-FI, laundry services, call center to help you around the university and career. The University has its own radio services “Suno Sharda 90.8” for its students and the residents of Greater Noida. The campus has various refreshment points, vending machines and cafeterias that are spread across the premises. Girls are expected to be back to the hostel latest by 9PM and boys by 10PM. Any personal electrical item is prohibited inside the campus premises and the students may be fined up to Rs2500/-
Students are also permitted to keep two/four wheeler inside the campus with the proper permission and pass. Any hostler, if sick can also ask for special oil-less food from the mess with the permission of the hostel warden.
