It is known as the KL University which is a ‘deemed to be’ university established in the year 1985 and is located in Vaddeswaram, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. It was formerly known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering and has been established by Sri Koneru Lakshmaiah and Sri K Satyanarayana.

It spread across a vast 100-acres campus which is adjacent to the Buckhimgham Canal. Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering is the college affiliated to the university.

It is famous for providing the society with talented and multi-skilled engineers. There are around 11 academic departments and six schools of excellent education.

The institution has been recognized by the AICTE and has been accredited with an A grade by the NAAC Team. As per the latest 2018 report of uniRank, KLU was ranked 1^st in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The University has held a 100% placement record for the past 10 years.

Application and Admission Procedure

KLU offers UG/PG courses and the admissions are based on the result of the Entrance test conducted by the University KLUEEE. The University offers B.Tech/M.tech/B.Arch/B.com courses etc. The admissions to B.Tech courses is also done on the basis of the rank obtained in JEE Mains/Advance and State Level Entrance Exam including EAMCET and merit in sports/cultural activities.

HOW TO APPLY:

• The test KLUEEE is conducted in two modes i.e. online mode and offline mode. The application form for KLUEEE can be filled both online and offline.
• The candidate needs to fill in all the personal, educational and contact details etc.
• The candidates filing online forms need to upload scanned copy of photo and signature.
• Then the payment is done of Rs.1100, the payment can be done either by online or offline mode through Demand Draft (DD).
• Download the admit card from the official website.
• Result will also be published online.

The University accepts the GATE and CAT results for M.Tech and MBA respectively.
