Sri Guru Granth World University is a private university located in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. It was established in the year 2004 and was declared ‘private’ under the Punjab State Act 20/2008.

Application and Admission Procedure
Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University’s application forms should be downloaded online from admission link on the official website.
Candidates have to fill the form in their own handwriting. In form, no columns should remain blank and the right information has to be filled.
The filled form with duly attested documents should be sent to college along with the bank challan of INR 500 which is application form charges through speed post at this address Admission Cell, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib-140406.
For admissions, the university will consider the eligibility of the candidate, and the marks scored in the respective entrance tests. Then the university will release a merit list that will be prepared on the scores secured in qualifying test.
Selected candidates will be invited for the admission and at that time candidates need to produce all of the original prescribed documents.

The University provides extensive training for Hockey through its sports academy. They also have athletic tracks, volleyball court, cricket ground and more amenities within the campus. A medical center with a visiting doctor functions round the clock along with a physiotherapy lab.

Entrance Exam
I got admitted based on my cat score i had scored around 85 percentile. I had to appear for an interview as well. You can also apply through scores of other entrance tests.
Fees
The fee of the college is around 1.2 lacs. And for hostel you have to pay around 700000 rupees . I chose tis college as it is one of the best colleges in the country and the placements are also good and you can get it done asap.
Placements
Almost 90 percent of the students get place to the campus and more than 30 companies came for recruiting students and the companies belonged to various backgrounds. The average placement package was around 4.5 lakhs and highest was around 12 lakhs. Make sure you have no backlogs if you want to grab a good package.
