Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) was established in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2008 by Sahitya SadawartSamiti, Jaipur. The first constituent college under the name Gyan Vihar College, Jaipur, was set up in 1999. The university runs more than 200 programs across various disciplines like engineering, management, commerce, hotel management and liberal studies.

The university also offers distance learning programs for BCA, BBA, MCA, and MBA courses. It is spread over 32 acres of land with the total student strength of 4500.

The engineering school has NBA accreditation. Pharmacy course is approved by PCI while Hotel Management program is approved by AICTE. For admission it accepts scores of various national and state level entrance tests like CAT, GATE, RMAT, RPET, RMCAT and its own entrance test – GVCAT.

The university has collaborations with foreign universities like Buckingham University UK, Royal Roads University, Canada, Glasgow Caledonian University, U.K., Victoria University, Australia and others.

How to apply?

There is a common application process for all courses offered by this university.

• The interested candidates need to register themselves by visiting the official website of the university and click on admissions segment.
• Fill in all the personal details such as full name, contact no. email ID etc and get email verification containing unique student ID and password.
• Select the program for which they are interested to apply and click the submit button to proceed further
• The registration fee can be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking/DD/challan. If they opt for DD computer generated challan option in making fee payment then they need to take a print out of duly fill up form and send it along with the DD/Challan to the below-mentioned address.

The DD should be drawn in favor of "Suresh Gyan Vihar University” and payable at Jaipur. If the candidates choose Challan option then they need to take a print out of computer generated challan copy and submit it to any branch of Axis bank. They can also deposit the Registration fee in cash directly to the university finance department.

Admission Procedure

The university conducts an online test namely, GVSAT for all new admission in UG /PG programs. For PhD and distance programs the university conducts UET entrance exam. The admission is done on the basis of the results of the entrance tests.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University was established in the year 2008 as a private university in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The university campus is located around 10 km away from Jaipur international airport. The university premises consist of three campuses situated in 130 acres of land. The college is affiliated to University Grants Commission (UGC) and all its courses have been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The campus provides all the students with lush green atmosphere and state of the art infrastructure including digital classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, well-stocked library and digital resource center.

Other facilities include bank services, ATM, transportation, Sports complex, and an eating joint. Regular accreditations are done and latest one belongs to NAAC which has given this university Grade A certificate. Other accreditations include NBA (National Board of Accreditation), AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and PCI (Pharmacy Council of India).

Hostel

Separate hostels are provided for girls and boys on the college campus. Each room consists of basic amenities like a table, chair, cupboard, bed and electrical sockets. Round the clock security is present in the hostels.

Kitchen and dining hall is wide, spacious and hygienic. Other facilities in hostel include indoor and outdoor games, TV room and Recreational room. Hostels are well equipped with gymnasium hall, 24-hour wifi facility, and computer lab.
