Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, is a deemed-to-be university, supported and established by a Non Governmental organization named Gandhi Vidya Mandir of Rajasthan. The Institution was founded in the year 1951 and obtained the ‘Deemed-to-be’ status by the University Grants Commission, in the year 2002.

The GVM group currently has around 7 academic departments offering Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D courses, with a motive to reduce sufferings of the backwardness through educational programs.

The institution has been accredited with a ‘B’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

For admissions into the B.Ed/M.Ed programs students can secure seat through the entrance examination conducted by the State Government Agency. Candidates seeking admission for the Diploma courses, B.Sc, M.Sc programs and for the MBA, selection is purely based on merit or through entrance examinations.

While, students interested in the B.A courses have to apply using their 10+2 examination marks.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facility

The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education is located in the Churu district of Rajasthan. The campus is spread over 1000 acres of land with the infrastructure of antique outlook yet modern and up to date intrinsically.

The campus facilities include interactive classrooms, workshops, highly resourceful library, playgrounds, large parks, and auditorium. Other facilities provided are health center, guest house, bank, school and cooperative store for basic amenities.

Hostel Facility

The separate hostels for girls and boys are available on campus. The hostels can accommodate around 1000 students at once. They are surrounded by the colony of academicians, large parks, and grounds.

Rooms are of two types i.e AC room and Air-cooler room. Each room has a bedding, a table, a cupboard and a chair. Mess facility is available in the hostel along with a recreational room for indoor and outdoor sports.
