Application and Admission Procedure

The college offers courses like MBBS, MD, B.Sc in nursing and some diplomas in the field of medicine. The admissions to MBBS are done on the basis of Combined Pre-Medical Test (CPMT) or All India Medical Entrance Exam (AIPMT). Admissions to MD are done on the basis of Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam (UG PGMEEE).

HOW TO APPLY:

• Candidates have to register for the application form of CPMT or AIPMT/UG PGMEEE.
• After the exam, on the basis of the scores, seats are allotted to the students in different colleges.
• There is a cutoff and a rank set for each medical college on the basis of which admissions are provided to the students.
• The candidates need to take admissions in the college allotted to them and submit the documents to the respective college.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

The King George’s Medical University is spread over across a large area of 100,000 sq meter and it is situated in the heart of the historical city Lucknow.

It has a separate hostel for boys as well as for girls. The rooms are spacious, airy, furnished and with all modern amenities like 24 hours electric supply, water supply, internet accessibility, AC etc. They can be used for single occupancy or twin’s occupancy.

The hostel mess serves good and fresh food to its students and it is run by maharajas. Moreover, the common room with cable TV connection and various indoor sports facilities such as table tennis, carom chess etc. are there.

For better commute every hostel has elevators. There is a guest house for visitors and a conference room. The whole campus is under 24 hour’s security system.

Other Facilities:

This university provides various outdoor sports facilities like volleyball courts, tennis courts, badminton court, football ground, cricket ground etc. Moreover, this university has a well-equipped gym, library reading room and well-equipped labs.
