About the Institute
The Institute of Technology and Sciences was founded in 2008 by the Smt. Uma Devi Charitable Trust located in Bhiwani. The Institute of Management and Information Sciences is aimed at providing students with excellent management and technology education. The institute has BBA, BCA and MBA courses which are approved by the AICTE, Govt. of India and the institute is affiliated to MDU, Rohtak. The college provides in depth education and expert lectures which are held by eminent people in the industry. All students’ performances are constantly monitored and the curriculum is constantly updated to make the students stay in touch with the latest management trends in the industry.
How to apply
The application is available at itsbhiwani.com and students may apply through their CAT scores. The application needs to be downloaded and submitted to the college through post along with photocopies of all necessary and relevant documents.
Admission to the institute is based on a candidate’s CAT score and past academic performance. The students who fulfill the cut off marks set by the institute are called for a round of group discussion and personal interview that is held across all major cities in India. Students who perform consistently well in all of these rounds are called for admission to the institute.
Candidates who want to apply must be a graduate in any disciple and candidates who are pursuing graduation in their final year may also apply provided they can furnish their final mark sheet during the time of university registration under MDU, Rohtak.
Campus Facilities (i.e. Infrastructure)
The campus houses all facilities that are necessary to facilitate seamless learning at the Institute. There are medical facilities that are active all the time. The campus also houses a state of the art library that houses not only the latest print media but also e-learning resources for the students. Journals are constantly updated and they can be accessed in the computer lab. The college has transport facilities and internet connectivity on campus.

Students who wish to apply to the Institute of Technology and Management Sciences can apply after the CAT results are declared. The applications are accepted till January and the GDPI rounds are held around April-May. The admission process concludes by June and classes begin by July end or August.
The total fee of the program is Rs. 1, 02, 000 which includes complete access to internet but does not include hostel fees.

To pursue MBA at ITS students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
