How to apply:
Students can apply at vjim.edu.in/ with their CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA scores. The application form is located at http://vjim.edu.in/application-form/. The form can be filled up online and submitted. A call will be given based on various weightages on past academics, entrance test score. The application fee is Rs. 1000 for all PGDM programs.
The admission to the institute is strictly based on the scores of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA and past academics followed by a round of Group Discussion/Opinion Talk and a Panel Interview.
Candidate should have graduated in any discipline with at least 50% marks to be eligible for the institute. He also has to appear for CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA in the relevant year. VJIM will shortlist the candidates based on entrance test scores, past academics and work experience. A final list is brought out based on the performance in the GD and PI rounds.
Campus Facilities (i.e. Infrastructure):
The campus is well equipped to deal with a student’s needs with a well-equipped Learning Resource Centre, an IT and Language Support Lab, a Sports complex and a state of the art health room.
The campus has hostels both for boys and girls. PGDM at VJIM is fully residential. The rooms are well furnished and the hostels are some of the best in the country with a sprawling sports ground, facilities for outdoor games like Tennis, Squash as well as indoor games like TT and Billiards.
Students of VJIM come from diverse backgrounds and it is the job of the Institute to foster a culture or job creating instead of job seeking. The average package at VJIM is 4.80 lakhs with recruiters like Idea telecom, Nestle, Deloitte, The Times of India, Oxford University Press and more coming year after year to recruit the bright minds at VJIM.

A student can get anything from 0.50 to 1.50 lakhs worth of scholarship based on his MAT/CMAT performance. On top of that two merit based scholarships of up to 50% fees are offered in each trimester to the toppers.
With social clubs integrated with the industry for hands on learning VJIM provides students the best of both worlds – classroom discussions and industry integrated learning. There are multiple clubs like the Communication Club, Ethno Elite – The HR Club, Finance Club etc. which organize various events for brainstorming and learning experiences.
After receiving CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA scores students can apply directly from the website. Application processes last approximately till June and end before the first week of July.
The course fees is Rs. 6, 50, 000.00 with the facility of loan assistance provided by the institute and there are reductions based on the entrance exam percentiles of candidates. Meritorious students are eligible for scholarships.

To pursue MBA at VJIM students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
