With a noble object to render a quality oriented legal education in the reason of Rayalaseema of Andhra Pradesh our S.V.College of Law was established in 1991 in Tirupati at the feet of Sri Lord Venkateswara and providing legal education in this region with dedication.

This colleges as got permission from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1991 and Affiliated to S.V.University, Tirupathi under Recog.No.S.V.U.59605-C III(2)/92, Dated 1-6-1992. And got affiliation Bar Council of India with BCI/D/1324/1991 (Le/Affln), dated 10-7-1991. And we used to get renewal of affiliation from the Bar Council of India from time to time.

The College is dedicated to create a new breed of dynamic and future ready Law Graduates who will be in a position to use the knowledge acquired here towards the creation of a better society and indeed, a brighter future for themselves.
There was an excellent team of dedicated and experienced teaching faculty specialized in different branches of legal sciences. The college is equipped with an excellent library and spacious reading room which possess latest editions of all standard text books, legal classics, case reports digests and encyclopedias.

The main Aim of establishing the institution is not merely to turn out Graduates in Law but to produce good citizens with a vision of turning out of its portals legally component human resource excelling both in academics and values, to provide the youth with the best opportunities and environment for higher education and enable them to attain very high levels of academic excellence and leadership qualities to make them appreciated the need for higher ethical standards in personal, social and public life.

Eligibility

Eligibility for Law courses (LLB, integrated LLB) at Sri Venkateshwara College Of Law, Tirupati -

1) 3 year Law Degree Course - A candidate who has graduated in any discipline from a recognized University can appear for L.L.B. course

2) Integrated Degree Program - Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam or an exam cosidered to be equivalnt to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam can enrol for integrated degree program (LLB and a first degree in any other subject).

Candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree after taking up other courses through distance mode are also considered eligible for integrated degree course. But those candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree through distance mode or from open universities without any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into law courses.

Minimum marks for admission into law courses -

1) 40% for SC/ST candidates

2) 45% for other candidates

Admission Procedure

Admission will be based on a CLAT (Combined Law Aptitude Test).
