BAPUJI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (BIET) BANGALORE

Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) was started in the year 1979 and is located in Davangere, Karnataka. It is a private type institution and covers a land area of 61.5 acres. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.

The college comes under the top ten self –financing institutions. It is also recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. It also has accreditation from NBA.

The institution aims to provide high quality education to build best engineers. The college promotes the co-curricular activities and provides an ideal environment for learning and developing new skills. The basic aim of the college is to give outstanding technocrats to the society.

How to apply

The candidates who are interested in studying at Bapuji Institute of Technology have the option of filling the application form through two different modes i.e ONLINE and OFFLINE.

There are three types of payment option; they are Demand draft, Net banking, and credit or debit card.

The candidates should scan all the necessary documents earlier, as it will be required while filling up the application form.

Admission Procedure

The institute takes admission to only those candidates who have cleared any national level engineering entrance examination or Karnataka state level entrance examination for engineering.

The candidates are called for counselling on the basis of their rank card. The candidates are requested to visit the campus in person at the time of counselling with all the necessary documents to avoid any further delay in the admission procedure.

Hostel

The boys hostels have 3 blocks spread across 4.5 acres with 200 rooms and student intake capacity of 608. There are 2 dining hall for North Indian and South Indian cuisine respectively. Three students have to share a room. All hostellers are provided with a cot, chair and a table.

The girls hostel is called Amrutha Ladies Hostel. It currently has 1 block with 4 floors. There are 84 rooms which can accommodate 270 students. The hostel mess prepares North Indian as well as South Indian cuisine. Other facilities enjoyed by girl hostellers-

• Indoor shuttle court
• Indoor sports hall for chess, carom, table tennis
• Stationary shop inside hostel premises
• Walking track around the hostel

Campus Facilities

The institute provides the students with other facilities like canteen which can serve over 1000 people, bakery shop, over 300 computer systems with high speed internet connection, language lab and 24 hours medical services for the students.
