Rrs College Of Engineering And Technology (RRSCET) Medak

Founded in 2003, the college is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and is AICTE approved. In 2017, the college was awarded the famous Dewang Mehta National Education Leadership award by IPE.

The college offers a wide range of courses for the students. B. Tech courses are offered in- Computer Science and engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering, Civil engineering and Mechanical engineering.

Admission to the B. Tech courses depends on the class XII marks in the relevant subjects and the EAMCET entrance examination scores.

The college offers M. Tech courses in- Computer Science and engineering, DE & CE Science and Structural engineering. Admission to M. Tech courses is based on the marks scored in the B. Tech qualifying examination and also the GATE scores.

Apart from the above mentioned courses the college also offers diploma courses in- Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering, Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering and Civil engineering. The college offers an MBA program. Entry into the MBA program depends on the ICET examination merit rank.

College facilities

The college is well equipped and provides many facilities to its students such as- A fully automated digital library, computer laboratories, hostels for both boys and girls, canteen, sports grounds, transport facilities, a memorandum of understanding with TCS for conducting online examinations and 24*7 uninterrupted internet connection.

The college has industry Institute Interactions and a very good training and placement cell. Students have been recruited by- Infosys, Genpact, IBM, HCL, Ocean Space Into Services and Tech Mahindra.

Hostel and Facilities

HOSTEL

The institute provides separate accommodations for boys and girls. The rooms allotted are equipped with basic amenities. Wardens and guards are assigned to each hostel. Health care facility, games room, television etc. are provided in the hostels.

The rooms allotted are on dual sharing basis. Certain other facilities offered by the hostels are as follows:

• Mess and dining area provided
• Common halls provided

The college has made several other provisions apart from hostel i.e. scholarships for meritorious students, placements in leading brands, computer labs, NSS, library with huge collection of books, seminar halls and auditorium etc.
