Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratisthans College of Engineering is an Un-Aided institute established in the year 1991 under the societies registration Act of 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.

It institute is spread over 7.34 acres of land and stands in the heart if Mumbai region. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University and duly recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. All its courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

Various departments set up in the institute include Information Technology Electronics and Telecommunications Electronics, Computer Engineering, Marine Engineering and varied diploma courses.

The college has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) making its courses internationally renowned. The college has been awarded ‘Best Engineering College-2017’ by Praxis Media Pvt. Ltd. And much other such recognitions are an part of this institutes prestige.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

The campus extends over an area of 7.34 acres out of which the playground itself occupies an area of 4 acres of land at the heart of Mumbai city.

The library was established in 1990 and consists of a wide array of books. 30000 books and 754 national and international periodicals are available here. A library team manages both the online and offline sections of the library. The cafeteria helps in providing healthy food to the students.

Well-equipped labs, computer centre, auditorium, lecture halls are also facilitated by the college. There is provision of indoor and outdoor games facility. The lecture theatres are well-equipped with audio-visual facilities.

They help in providing scholarships to the meritorious students by providing concession on their tuition fees.

Internships can be chosen according to one’s preference. Placements are provided in 4 departments such as CSE, ETE, EE and ITE which is headed by their respective TPO coordinator.
