MG College of Engineering is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Established in 2004, the college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, recognized by APJ Abdul Kalam University and approved by All India Council of Technical Education.

The college offers B.tech courses in three streams such as

• B.tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• B.tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• B.tech in Computer Science Engineering

For filling the admission forms of the college students must have fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria that are 50% marks (general category) and 45% marks (reserved category) in Higher Secondary (10+2) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Aspirants have to give KEAM entrance exam as the college will release cut off based on score secured in it.

The college does not provide any hostel facility. Some of the other facilities that are provided by the college are library, laboratories, computer centre, workshops and communication lab.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply

Online Application-

The application form can be downloaded from the college website.

The form must be duly filled in all respects and the application fee of INR 300 is to be paid via demand draft drawn in favor of the college.

Offline Application

Candidates can collect the application form from the college office in person on payment of INR 300 or may get it by post on payment of INR 330 via demand draft drawn in favor of the college.

Passport size photograph is to be affixed on the application form and the attested copies of the class 10^th and 12^th marksheets need to be submitted along with the application form.

Application forms completely filled up in the candidates’ own handwriting need to be submitted either in person at the college office or by registered post with A/D before the due date.

Admission Procedure

General candidates need a minimum of 50% in class XII in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics combined together and also 50% in Mathematics and need to get a valid rank in the CEE 2017 entrance examination. This percentage is 45% in the case of OBC candidates.

SC/ST candidates only need pass marks in the class XII examinations.

The college campus is a beautiful, lush green one sprawling in an area of 25 acres. The workshops are available for all general works.

The library has over 10000 books and journals.Computer Centre, which can have 60 students at a time is connected with Internet with a high speed bandwidth of 8 mbps.

Workshops are equipped with modern and upgraded instruments for Practical Learning. The college is equipped Laboratories like Computer Lab, Basic Electronics Lab, Electronics Communications Lab, Control Systems Lab.
