Swami Vivekanand College of Education is approved by N.C.T.E. Jaipur and affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, offering B.Ed. Course having capacity of 200 Seats. The B.Ed. Programme of SVCE aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by prospective teachers for effective learning process.In addition, it provides knowledge and develops in them an understanding of areas such as educational evaluation, school management etc.Practical shape is given to the education principles, learnt in the classrooms and Student oriented programmes are being organized from time to time to enhance personality.SVCE has become the first Institution in North India to introduce the concept of Smart Classes for teaching and learning innovative aids. The concept of Digital classes has started the digital revolution in and around the area.

Programme Objectives:

• To imbibe the knowledge and develop an understanding the various methods and approaches of organizing learning experiences of school students.

• To develop skills required in selecting and organizing learning experiences.

• To understand the nature of learning processes.

• To develop skills involved in selecting, developing and using evaluation tools.

• To develops skills involved in dealing with academic and personal problems of learners.

• To acquire knowledge and develop an understanding of various procedures and techniques of evaluation and their classroom applications.

Admission Process:

Admission to B.Ed. Courses is through Centralized counseling conducted by Federation of Self financed colleges of Education, Punjab. The candidates are required to submit the original certificates at the time of counseling. The candidates selected for admission are required to deposit the dues within specified time. In case of failure of deposition of fee, the admission will stand cancelled and seat so vacant will be offered to the candidate next on merit.
