Pavanatma College (PC), Murickassery was established in 1982. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Pavanatma College, the beacon of knowledge, evokes mingled feelings of pride and hope in the passersby, affords a picturesque view, beckoning young minds to make intellectual pursuits by utilizing its tranquil ambience. The aim of the college is imparting higher education to the youth of the high ranges, especially that of the Catholic community and by contributing talents to the progress by showing keen interest in both curricular and co- curricular activities.

The college endeavors to impart higher education against the backdrop of Christian ideals, so that every student may lead a life of staunch belief in God, of compassion to their fellow- beings and of truthfulness to themselves. Besides, the college academic excellence it enables the students to seek new pastures in life and, thereby, to become a blessing not only to their kith and kin but also to the society and to the nation at large. Admission Rules :-

1. Students who seeks admission to all the undergraduate and post graduate programs should register their names through Centralized Allotment Process.
2. Application forms for management quota,community quota,cultural,sports and PH can be had from the College office on payment of Rs.100/-
3. Application forms NEATLY and CORRECTLY filled up may be sent to the Principal with the self attested mark list.INCOMPLETE applications will be summarily rejected.
4. Selection of students will be made on the basis of merit,including good conduct and character.
5. Applicants who are being favourably considered will be called for an interview.The applicant accompanied by his/her parent/guardian is to report to the Principal for interview on the date and time fixed and produce.

• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended.
• Course and Conduct Certificates from the head of the institution last attended.
• Two passport size photos with name and application number written on the reverse.
• Certificate of Religious formation ,or Character Certificate from the parish priest(Catholics only).
• Income and community certificate in the case of students belonging to ‘Other Backward Classes’ and community certificate in the case of scheduled caste,scheluded tribe and converts to Christianity.
• Students who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities / Bodies have to produce,in addition to the above

N.B.: Pass certificates once deposited will not be returned to the student when leaving the college. In extra ordinary cases, students may borrow them for a short period on special application after advancing the dues for the term.

1. Those selected for admission will be intimated. Admission process will be completed on payment of the first instalment of fees.
2. As per the order of the Supreme Court, if any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him/her from the institution.
