Arihant College Khandwa Road Indore

Arihant College is located on the education belt of Khandwa Road in Indore (M.P.). It is an un aided private education institution. It has come into existence in the year 2006 and is making its place in the world of education as “The Place of Innovative Education”. We are the proud recipient of “Educational Excellence Awards” which was given to us by Honorable Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Babulal ji Gour for our Excellent contribution in the field of Education. It is managed under the Arihant College and Hospital Society. The college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education ( NCTE) (WRC) Bhopal and affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.

The campus is located within 1 km from the DAVV Takshashila Campus on the main Khandwa Road, which is the main Educational belt of well established schools and colleges in Indore. This institution offers one year Bachelor Course i.e. B.Ed. Bachelor of Education (regular) with annual intake of 100 students. The admission procedure followed for the admission of the students of B.Ed. is on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by Vyavasayik Pariksha Mandal, (VYAPAM) Bhopal, M.P. The qualifying students of entrance examination are supposed to complete their admission procedure as per the guidelines issued by Higher Education Department. M.P. government, Bhopal.

Mission

We seek to establish and manage the institution professionally in the field of teacher training. For this, the mission which Arihant College beholds is of helping the educands to get a true and wholesome personal and professional growth during the training period. We ought to seek an overall development of individual’s personality in the entire three domains – cognitive, affective and psychomotor. We also seek to prepare such trained teachers for society who teaches the student teachers not only the lessons of their course but also lessons of life as well, by becoming exemplar for them. As we are aware of the fact that the teacher affect an entire generation so it become essential for Teacher Education Institute to prepare such teachers who helps the students to learn through the perception. This will become possible only if the teachers become the ‘Role Model’ for their students. For this, we as a teacher training institute make a conscious effort of enriching the society with our knowledgeable and competent trained teachers. Institute is using innovative teaching practice for the fulfilment of its objectives.

Admission Procedure

Admission to all the courses would be made in order of merit determined on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the student in the qualifying examination and / or personal interview. The candidate is advised to apply for admission only if he/she is sure that he/she fulfils the eligibility requirements for the particular programme for which he/she is seeking admission. It is the responsibility of the student to obtain all the relevant information about his/her eligibility. In case a student who is provisionally admitted on the basis of the information/documents furnished by him is found ineligible, due to any reason, the Director/Principal can cancel his/her admission.

Application Form complete in all respects, should be submitted with the following documents attached :

1. School/College Leaving Certificate (T.C./S.L.C./C.L.C.) of the previous School/College attended in original.
2. Two attested photocopies of Mark Sheets of X, XII and/or qualifying examination.
3. In case there is a gap in the education of the candidate, he/she must submit a Gap Certificate indicating that he/she has not taken admission in any College, has not appeared for any Examination and that his/her conduct has been good.

Note :

1. One who has appeared in the qualifying examination during current year as a regular or private candidate but whose result is yet to be declared can also apply for admission on provisional basis. Such a candidate must produce the certificate of passing the examination before the last date fixed for this purpose, otherwise his admission will be cancelled. The fee and charges paid by him shall not be refunded in any case.
