Excel College of Architecture and Planningis a private architecture college in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The charitable trust, SRET - Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust was formed in the year 2001. The trust came into existence with a prime objective to encourage higher education. In the year 2007 it started a professional educational institution in the name of Excel Group of Institutions at Pallakapalayam, Namakkal, Tamilnadu, India. These institutions are located in an area of over 100 acres near NH 47. These institutions also offer various programs in Diploma, B. Tech. B. Ed, B.E., Teacher Training courses and P.G. Courses such as MCA, MBA and M.Ed. ExcelCollege of Architectureand Planning is situated in Pallipalayam, in Namakkal District. The college offers with B. Arch, which is a 5 year Architecture & Planning course recognized by Council of Architects (COA), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Admission are on basis of HSC score or any equivalent for B.Arch program.

Admission Procedure :-

Excel provides various under graduate and post graduate courses in Engineering & Architecture discipline, Education and Management courses with the hi-tech laboratories for engineering, state-of-art facilities for architecture and with efficient online library resources.

Admissions in Excel are based on the eligibility criteria of Tamilnadu government norms and they can visit the admission office in person or may enquire through on line / Phone registration.

B.Arch Programme

For B.Arch programme the admission is based on the scores in HSC or equivalent and should secure minimum eligibility marks in NATA entrance exam and can further apply as per the terms and conditions of Excel.

Eligibility for B.Arch Programmes

• Candidate has to pass in HSC or equivalent with 50% Marks with Maths.
• Candidate has to pass in NATA Entrance Exam.
• Commerce, Science, Vocational & Diploma Scheme Candidates are also eligible.
• Diploma in civil engineering candidates can join in first year of B.Arch Programme.
• The candidate has to secure Min 80 Marks out of 200 (80/200), then only he/she will be eligible for admission.

M.Arch Programme

Eligibility for M.Arch Programme

Candidate has to pass in B.Arch with minimum 50% Marks.
