Surendranath Evening College Kolkata

Surendranath Evening College, Kolkata was established as a co-educational institution. It aims to impart education to students from all levels of society, with especial care for the underprivileged. The college is presently governed by a democratically constituted governing body consisting of seven members out of fourteen members nominated/selected by the University of Calcutta as well as by the director of public instruction, Government of West Bengal, local self-government band the rest members consisting of four representatives from teaching staff, two representatives from non-teaching staff and the general secretary, students’ union.
