Bearys Institute of Technology was found by Bearys Group. It is a minority institution. The Institute offers UG, PG and polytechnic courses in technological fields. It is regarded as one of the premier engineering institutions in Mangalore.

BIT has 5 well established clubs- A+C, Champions, Green, Innovators, and Pray. The students of BIT regularly participate in inter-college, zonal, and district level sports competitions.
