About the institute
the ITS Education Group was established more than twenty years ago to offer quality education to students. It has four campuses and offers a number of courses. The flagship postgraduate programs that it offers are PGDM and MBA with different specializations.
How to apply?
The admission form has to be filled online. It is available on the following link: http://www.its.edu.in/OnlineAdmissionForm.aspx . It can also be obtained from the college itself. The documents to be submitted along with the application form are attested copies of previous academic marksheets (10th, 12th and graduation), score card for entrance exams, migration/transfer certificate from last attended university and any other required certificates like the caste or domicile certificate.
Admission Procedure
The candidates are required to submit the scores for the MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT or any other exam approved by AICTE. Once the applications are complete, the candidates will have to go through a screening procedure that consists of a Personal Interview and Group Discussion. All the above criteria are taken into consideration and the selected students are offered admission. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into the Institute, the candidate is required to have graduated from any recognized university in any discipline of at least three years’ duration. The candidate is required to appear for at least one of the following entrances: MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT or any other entrance exam as long as it is approved by AICTE.
Campus Facilities(i.e. Infrastructure)
The campus provides world-class amenities to the students like lecture theatres, air conditioned auditoriums, an automated and air conditioned library, seminar halld, large classrooms, sports facilities, etc. The campus also includes a gymnasium and large cafeteria. It is well equipped with all the required medical facilities, therefore ensuring that the campus is a self-sustaining one.
Hostel
Separate hostels for girls and boys are located within the campus. The hostel facility is available to all students. It has all the basic amenities like 24x7 internet connection, laundry, security, entertainment, mess facilities, etc.
Placements
The placement cell of the Institute plays an important role in preparing the students to enter the industry. Various training programs and seminars are organized for the students. The highest placement package in the Institute is Rs. 10. 5 lakhs per annum. Scholarships
The Institute awards scholarships to meritorious students in order to recognize their talent and motivate them. Scholarships are given on the basis of academic performance as well as performance in various entrance exams. The scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000.
Student Life
The students have formed a number of clubs on campus like the IB Club, the HR Club, the Cultural Committee, the Internship club and sports club. They organize a number of events through the year like workshops, student exchange programs with foreign universities, conferences, sports and cultural fests and so on.
Fee Structure
The fee structure for the entire PGDM course is Rs. 2,90,000 for the MBA course is Rs. 1,20,000. Eligibility
To pursue MBA at ITS students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Admission Procedure
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
