Pulla Reddy Engineering College, [PREC] Medak was established in 2008. It is named after a great industrialist Ch. Pulla Reddy. This college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. This collge is managed by Gayathri Educational Society. This college was established with all the facilities required for an ideal Institute. It is the 1st Technology College created under Pulla Reddy Institute of Technology. College will actively promote and preserve higher values and ethics in education, health care and research to pursue excellence in all these domains, while consciously meeting the expectations of the people.
The vision of the college is to further the fine moral and cultural traditions of secular India through imparting education to students in the engineering institutions started by the society and also to organize and promote the study of Engineering, Science, Humanities and Fine Arts in the context of the country's development. Training and preparation of selected students, to excel in their chosen fields or courses is also the college endeavor.

College is located at Wargal village, Medak. The campus is sprawling over 10 acres, well laid roads; high grown trees were developed to enhance the aesthetic charm of the campus. College established a good infrastructure.
