HOW TO APPLY?

Candidates seeking admission in Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang should appear in Odisha JEE which is conducted through JEE Mains. Candidates who seek admission in the MBA program need to qualify CAT or XAT and candidates wishing to take admission in M.Tech must qualified GATE.

Candidates can apply online as well as offline.

ONLINE APPLICATION

For online application registration, the candidates can visit the website of the institute or the official website of the examination.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The candidates must follow the application process of registering themselves for the application form and filling in their details, uploading the mentioned images like the passport size photograph and signature, payment of the application fee which is Rs 450 for all genders of all categories and lastly taking a printout of the confirmation page.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admission process includes registering for the counselling process and payment for same and payment for the final allotment for admission in the institute.

Hostel and Facilities

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute of Government of Odisha. The college is fully residential and provides accommodation facility for all the students. There are separate facilities for girls and boys. The college has a well-maintained library with a collection of 30,000 text and reference books. All the library transactions are computerised.

The college has a bank and post office inside the campus for the students. A well-maintained gym is a major attraction for fitness conscious students.

The college has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 at any given time. The college is also a home to large playing fields for students having interest in cricket, football and volleyball.

Medical facilities are available on campus in case of any emergency. The classrooms are well-maintained with projector screens and Wi-Fi connectivity. Seminar halls and conference rooms have ‘state-of-the-art’ status and are ideal for hosting any expert talk or seminars for the students.
