AMACE is a Centre of National Excellence in Engineering and Technology Education under the management of Meenakshi Ammal Trust. The trust is made up of eminent personalities from different walks of life such as education and administration.

The aim of the college is to provide rewarding and fulfilling experience, which naturally enhances their knowledge base and develop their talent and skills. To achieve our goals, we established AMACE in 1985 by an order of Govt. of Tamil Nadu as a Telugu Linguistic Minority Engineering College, approved by AICTE & Affiliated to world-renowned University of Madras and now it has affiliated with Anna University-Chennai, Chennai & South India.
