Aurora’s Engineering College Bhongir (AURB), Hyderabad, Telangana, is a private institute that was established by Aurora Educational Society in the year 1998. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Technological University, Hyderabad, and was duly approved by the AICTE.

The college offers B. Tech programs in 6 specialisations at the undergraduate level, and M. Tech programs in 15 specialisations as well as an MBA program at the postgraduate level.

The college is equipped with facilities of international standards. Its campus is located on the outskirts of Bhuvanagiri, a town on Hyderabad-Warangal high-way in a sprawling green landscape of about 600 acres of land surrounded by hills in very picturesque settings.

It offers numerous facilities such as modern computer labs, an auditorium, labs, hostels, medical amenities, sporting facilities (indoor and outdoor), a cafeteria, and a well-stocked, state-of-the-art library.

The admission into UG and PG programs is on the basis of merit marks scored in Class 12th and applicant’s Bachelor’s degree respectively, as well as scoring/placement in entrance exams such as the TS-EAMCET and the TS-PGECET.

Hostel and Facilities

The campus sprawls over an area of 600 acres and is located on the outskirts of Bhuvanagiri in Hyderabad. A green landscape surrounded by hills provides the best combination of relaxation and learning.

The library is located in a separate building which covers an area of 700 sq. Metres.A huge range of books, CD-ROM’s and databases totalling to more than 36000 along with subscriptions to various periodicals are available.

DELPLUS Software is installed to monitor the in-house operations of the library.Various labs equipped with the latest software cater to the needs of the innumerable departments of the college.The canteen provides a huge variety of food.
